Clara Barton was a super caring lady who wanted to help others. She started something called the American Red Cross, which is all about helping people during difficult times. She was like an angel who helped wounded soldiers and people who needed it most. In fact, they nicknamed her the angel of the Battlefield. Clara's kindness and love for others remind us to be helpful and show compassion to those around us.
Neil Armstrong: The Space Adventurer 👨✈️🌒🚀

Neil Armstrong was a really brave guy who did something incredible. He became the first person to walk on the moon! Can you imagine how cool that must have been? When he took that first step, he said something that went down in history. He said, "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." Neil's amazing journey reminds us to dream big and explore new things.

We have just explored the incredible stories of Abraham Lincoln, Clara Barton, Neil Armstrong, Washington Carver, and Daniel Boone. These amazing heroes have inspired us with their bravery, kindness, and creativity. By learning about their awesome achievements, we can see that we, too, have the power to make a difference and do great things for our country.
I recently did an art project where I cut-out pictures of these incredible people, and paste them on a nice background of our flag. I added yarns and wooden stars. Take a look at how beautiful it is. It made me feel so awesome! Learning about their stories and how they helped make America better was so inspiring.
